First Offshore Substation Platform Installed on Moray West

Another fantastic milestone for the construction progress of Ocean Winds' Moray West Offshore Wind Farm has been reached with the successful installation of the first offshore substation platform (OSP) by Boskalis' Bokalift1.

The complex heavy lift operations in the Port of Nigg, and offshore, were completed successfully and safely. The previously laid export cable will now be pulled into the OSP, as offshore commissioning starts.
 
As Bokalift1 moves on to install the second OSP, Bokalift2 continues to install monopiles on site, as the winter weather windows allow.
