Moray West Reaches New Heights with All Transition Pieces Installed

Moray West has achieved another significant milestone with the successful installation of all transition pieces. This accomplishment marks the completion of DEME Group's scope on the project.

OW Ocean Winds extends its congratulations to DEME Group for their efficient and safe installation of all 62 transition pieces, utilising their Apollo jack-up vessel. This follows the successful completion of the monopile installation phase with their Orion vessel.

With all foundations now firmly in place, the project's focus transitions to the inter-array cable installation campaign. Seaway7, already two-thirds of the way through the process with their Seaway Aimery vessel, is well-positioned to complete this critical stage.

The successful completion of both DEME's and Seaway7's scopes will be instrumental in keeping the Moray West project on schedule for first power generation.
