Moray West Contracting Aproach
Although Moray West is at a much earlier stage in development than Moray East, it is expected that a similar approach will be taken towards contracting.
Moray West is unlikely to directly employ the large labour force required to build and install turbines, rather it will enter into a relatively small number of large contracts for different aspects of the project. Again it is anticipated that significant market opportunities will exist at local and national level for sub-contracting within those large contracts.

- Connection to National Grid at Blackhillock substation with a new substation at Whitehillock to step up voltage, both within Moray.
